Counter-Strike: GO Renames to de_dust2

A few days ago Valve made some international polls which aimed to find out which is the most played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive map and they came to a radical decision.

After some discussions they decided to change the original name from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to de_dust2 in order to better promote the game and in some way for players to recognize which game are they playing. This isn’t a hasty decision because the de_dust2 map is played by 98.7%  of players worldwide and this an enormous percentage. Valve will teach Bill Gates a lesson and maybe someday he will change the name from Microsoft to Megasoft.

On hearing the news players were not impressed by the decision made by Valve. Most of them said that they can finally climb in rank and will not have to play a hardcore map like de_inferno anymore.

We will keep you up to date with more information about these changes.
