Steam Finally Adds Frames Per Second Counter for Games

Steam is getting a frames per second (FPS) counter which will make it easier to track your PC’s performance.

For now, the new feature is available only if you choose to participate in the Steam Client Beta, which you can do by simply go to Settings.

By implementing the FPS counter, Gabe spare the Steam users in using FRAPS, a screen capture software which includes a benchmark for FPS.

The Steam community bursts with enthusiasm and has only positive feedback on Gabe’s new revolutionary idea that will change the perspective of gaming industry.
