Two Warlords of Draenor Followers May Be a Reference to Vanilla World of Warcraft Cinematic
The very first World of Warcraft cinematic trailer featured class-specific characters that may have been introduced in the Warlords of Draenor expansion.Yulon <the Jade Serpent> on Tumblr found a possible resemblance between the characters from World of Warcraft’s very first cinematic trailer that came out a decade ago and the first followers we can hire for our Garrisons both on Alliance and the Horde side.
The two characters are: the night elf Qiana Moonshadow and the tauren male Olin Umberhide which seem to have the same equipment as the characters in the above trailer.
You may think that everything matches in this story but it’s not what it looks like. If you look closer, the in-game characters look much younger that in the trailer that came out a decade ago and Qiana Moonshadow’s boobs have been drastically nerfed.
Furthermore, Olin Umberhide’s left horn has been chopped off in-game and in the trailer we can see that the left horn is intact. Warlords of Draenor lore is generally based on time traveling and this might affected the physical integrity of the characters in game.
When Olin is used as a patrol during Garrison invasions he says “let me sprinkle some dust on that“, which is a clear reference to the very first WoW trailer in which the Tauren sprinkled some dust in the air for a few seconds. They might not be the same characters but Blizzard must take action to buff Qiana Moonshadow’s boobs.
